Tsechu-Annual Rituals

Tsechu is an annual religious festival in Bhutan, typically held in honor of Guru Rinpoche, the patron saint of Bhutan. The festival involves colorful masked dances, traditional music, and cultural performances, and it is considered an important event in Bhutanese culture.  Similarly, the Samtse Dzongkhag three-day annual Tsechu which was held in the public ground begins on the 20th and ends on the 23rd of November with the unfurling of Guru Tshengye thongdrel to the public. It was an opportunity for the students, and staff of Samtse College of Education, students of high and secondary students, and local community people to witness the mask dances especially Guru Tshengye Cham, or dance of the eight manifestations of Guru Rinpoche on the final day. Other mask dances were also performed such as Pacham, Durdag, Ging, and Tsholing, the Rigma Chudru Cham which were performed by the Dzongkhag dancers.                                                                        Morning Walk👫 After enrolling in this college, I found myself feeling anxiety, stress, and nervousness. Time and again I found, distancing myself from my friends. Somehow, I have managed such emotional feelings after going for the morning walk.  The morning walk was refreshing and energizing. I noticed that taking a walk in the morning not only enhances physical energy but also sets positive intentions for the day ahead. Being surrounded by nature is calming and refreshing, it is time for self-reflection, and to clear negative emotions. As usual, after walking for more than two kilometers, I found myself sitting on the peaceful lawn, birds chirping and leaves rustling. Reflection on Oral Presentation

                                                               Reflection on Oral Presentation Giving an oral presentation can be a nerve-wracking experience for me, but it is also an opportunity for me to improve my confidence and share my knowledge with the audience. Reflecting on my recent oral presentation, I have mentioned areas that I need to improve upon in future presentations. Firstly, in order to ensure that the audience understands the main points, I could have used signposts and transition words and could have better organized my content so that it would be easier for the audience to follow. Secondly, while delivering my presentation, I could have shown gestures and body language, so that I could have gained attention.  Moreover, I could have practiced my delivery more thoroughly to reduce nervousness and improve my confidence.                                                                   When breath becomes air I want to thank god for keeping me alive. I want to thank god for not letting me go during my sleep. I am just grateful for that.  I found the true meaning of life when my sister left us behind. I came to realize that life has profound meaning and need to cherish every moment and find meaning in our lives. I still remember the raindrops, going down to her forehead, and hanging in her nose for a while before they went down to her cheek. When she was with us, I could hardly find time to chat with her. As days pass by, the memories we share are slowly disappearing. It was hurtful, and missing my sister is the hardest thing that I have to deal with every day.  The day when your breath becomes air, it will remain as memories to someone else.
